Sequoia Union High School District News
Click here for the November 2016 district newsletter. From the Superintendent
Dear Parents:
I am retiring at the end of June in 2017 after seven years as SUHSD superintendent and 39 years in public education. The Sequoia Union High School District Board of Trustees has contracted with Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA) Executive Search to support the Board in its effort to recruit a new superintendent who will begin service to the district in July 2017.
HYA is asking district parents to participate in a survey that will provide valuable information to the SUHSD board in the search process. The link to the survey is below and can be accessed from the front page of our website (www.seq.org). Please complete the survey by December 19 as HYA will begin its analysis of the data at that time.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to the search process.
Jim Lianides, Superintendent
Estimados padres,

Drama Booster Club
Auditions for Anything Goes are in the books. There may still be a few "call backs" being given, and it's likely that our Director, Barry Woodruff, has a pretty good sense of his cast for the Spring Musical. It's a huge undertaking for cast and crew. We will count on parent and student support to make this happen. If you've ever thought about how fun it would be to be involved "behind the scenes", this is your chance. We will need support starting in January with a huge demand for period costumes, props, and set building and painting. And closer to the time of the shows we'll need to stock up the concession booth. If you like to bake and need a destination for your cookies and brownies, we'll gladly take a batch or two or five to sell and support the Drama Department. f you would like to be involved, please write directly to me, Jim Larkin at jalark725@gmail.com.
And to make sure we fill the theater each of the 5 nights, we need everyone to spread the word by any means possible. Like us on Facebook and share about our productions with your friends and family. The shows are March 10, 11, & 12 and 17 &18. All shows are at a 8:00pm. Mark your calendars, you will be glad you came out to the Theater that night. Come early, because you'll want to come again! This is going to be a great night out.
