Occurring this year on November 29, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.

It's a Wonderful Nutcracker!

Menlowe Ballet, the premier professional ballet company on the peninsula based in Menlo Park, presents itsencore presentation of the full-length story ballet, It's a Wonderful Nutcracker. Conceived by Artistic Director Michael Lowe, It's a Wonderful Nutcracker is set to the original beloved Tchaikovsky score and updated with inspiration from the 1940's Frank Capra film, "It's a Wonderful Life", bringing the two most heralded holiday classics together on one stage.  With all the magic of a traditional Nutcracker, this heartwarming contemporaryversion is packed full of surprises you won't want to miss!  Come see Woodside High School's own freshmen Louise Hautefeuille, Meghan Kerr, Milena Raeber and Daniela Thorne!

Performances will be held at the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center on December 9-11 & 16-18. Tickets are available at  www.menloweballet.org.
