Exchange Student Needing Housing
Does your family and home have room for one more? WHS is hosting an exchange student from Italy whose current host family is not able to host her for the second semester. Her sponsor, RWC Rotary Club, is looking for a WHS host family. She is a senior; she is very independent and self-motivated - and on track to graduate! Her host family shares that she is positive, compliant with family rules, and helpful around the house.

Drama Booster Club
It's finally here! The Fall "Evening of Theater" production of "The Canterville Ghost" will be on stage LIVE this Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 pm. Tickets will be on sale in the PAC Thursday and Friday at lunch and after school and then on the night of the show. These are General Admission tickets, so where you sit will depend on when you walk in the theater and find the seats you want. Adults are $10.00 and students are $5.00. The Cast and Crew have been working hard to give you the quality show that you've come to expect from the Woodside High School Drama department. Don't miss out on this fun evening of live theater.
Then, a reminder for those who want to audition for the Spring Musical; auditions will be held the week after Thanksgiving, Nov 28 - Dec 2. Sign up for your audition slot and come prepared with music to sing at your private audition. There will be a second audition to show off your dance skills. The dance auditions are done in groups. We're very excited to be presenting the classic "Anything Goes" - the story of fun and romance on the high seas with music by Cole Porter. As a theater goer, you'll want to mark your calendars for the second and third weeks of March to come see the show. We'll see you at the Theater!

From the Weekly Update Editors
- The deadline for submissions is Wednesday at 4 PM for publication on Sunday evening.
- If you are one of our regular contributors, you will be receiving an email every Monday night reminding you to send in your news. If you want to be added to the "regulars" distribution list, please email us at [email protected].
- Please keep articles short and focused. Include the event, date, time, location, and contact info, including URL if available.
- Please do not send attachments: send article content in the body of the email. If you send us a flyer, we will include it only as a link to a downloadable document, so the readers will have to click to open and read it. They probably won't, so again: do not send us flyers.
- Please spell check and proofread submissions.
- The PTSA Weekly Update Editorial Team reserves the right to edit or reject submissions.
- No special or additional editions of Weekly Update will be sent out unless the subject matter impacts the ENTIRE school population. Such special editions are exclusively at the discretion of the Weekly Update editors, the PTSA President, and the school administration.
