Welcome Back to School

Welcome back! It's hard to believe but it's that time of the year again - the beginning of a new school year. There's a lot of excitement ahead of you, including new teachers to meet, new books to read, new friends to meet, and new skills to master.

Tomorrow all students will be going to ALL of their scheduled classes on the first day of school, following the 0-7 bell schedule with 3:10 PM dismissal.
Goodbye Class of 2016


The Woodside High School Class of 2016 celebrated its final day of high school on Friday, June 3, as the 378 seniors received diplomas and watched their graduation caps fly over their heads.

This coming fall semester most of the class of 2016 will be pursuing a college education in a variety of public and private colleges and universities.

Please keep articles short and focused.

  • Email proofread submissions to whsupdate@gmail.com by 9:00 PM on the Thursday prior to the Sunday publication date
  • Please do not send attachments. Send article content in the body of the email.
  • Provide a .jpg attachment for all pictures and graphics. Do NOT imbed images or graphics into word docs. 
  • Include the event, date, time, location, and contact info, including URL.
  • If the submission includes critical info for parents, please consider including a Spanish translation of your article.
  • All submissions are subject to editing by the PTSA.
