VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS WEEK
As the end of the year quickly approaches, the library will be swamped with the return of textbooks that have to be stored there for the summer. Imagine how many textbooks your child has and multiply that by hundreds. Anne Ken, the librarian could really use help as they have to be checked in and sorted by subject. There is some lifting involved. The dates help is needed areTuesday May 31 and Wednesday June 1. Times are basically from 9:00 to 3:00 but if you can even help for an hour or so at any date or time, it would be very appreciated. You can just show up at the library whenever you can make it.

End-of-year help needed
The junior class has two more responsibilities this year, and the senior class needs our help. We'll appreciate it next year when our students are graduating and these things are done for us! Senior Awards Night The junior class provides desserts and drinks for the Awards Night on June 1. This is a fun event for the seniors as scholarships and awards are announced and recognized. There will be about 400 people attending this event so we can use lots of help. And next year someone will do this for us in return! Please sign up to bring baked goods, drinks, etc. Graduation lei & flower sale The Class of 2017 will be selling leis and roses to graduating seniors. We will set up early and sell through graduation on Friday, June 3. Most sales are between 9 - 10am. We can switch off during the ceremony in case someone wants to watch the graduation. Please sign up to help sell on graduation day.

DRAMA NEWS
Can you believe it's the last week of the 2015/2016 school year! What a great year it has been. I hope you took up the opportunity to be entertained by at least one amazing Woodside Drama Presentation this year. You had many opportunities from Woodside's Got Talent, to an evening of Entertainment in the Fall, to the phenomenal "The Little Mermaid" in the Spring and finally the outstanding all-student productions of "Tracks" and "Conversation Therapy" just a couple of weeks ago.
If, as you sat in the audience, you had that sensation of wanting to be involved in one of these productions, mark your calendars now for our first Drama Booster Club meeting for the coming year: Wednesday, August 24 at 7:00 pm. This will be both a Social Event and a Business Meeting, so come meet your fellow Theater Enthusiasts and be a part of Theater at Woodside. Believe it or not try-outs and auditions for Woodside's Got Talent and the Fall Production will be in the first few weeks of September. And we're off and running from there. We have many ways for you to be involved, so if you're a parent or a student who would like to be involved, stop by our booth during the Arena Check-in to receive your personal invitation and get all the information you need to become involved. We'll see you at the Theater.
