Fund-A-Need: Expand College Counseling Services
to find the right college fit for all Woodside High Students
At Woodside High School we believe that college awareness and preparation should start early and that the college application process should be as stress-free as possible. To support the students they are today and the adults they wish to become, we are looking to add to the college counseling services on campus:
- An additional part-time college counselor
- 9th and 10th grade focus on college major and career exploration using Naviance so that students have solid familiarity prior to college application process
- Small group appointments for juniors following the successful "March into College" series
- Application and beyond assistance for seniors, providing support insuring all documents are received by the college, identifying grants and other sources for financial assistance, interpreting the college financial award letter, and helping evaluate among acceptances
- Woodside High School graduate panels to share their college experience with current students
- SAT test preparation for the new format of the SAT
AND much more...
Let's raise $75,000 to expand college counseling services on campus!
Your donation for Fund-A-Need will be matched dollar-to-dollar up to $25,000 by a very generous anonymous supporter of Woodside.
Woodside High School Foundation 199 Churchill Avenue Woodside, CA 94062
with "Fund-A-Need" on the memo line.

DRAMA BOOSTERS
Your last chance to experience live dramatic entertainment from the Woodside Drama Department is coming up! PLEASE NOTE: you may have received wrong information about the date of this production, yes, even from the hallowed pages of this esteemed newsletter. The correct date for the Drama Class all student run production is Thursday, May 12 in the PAC. Apologies for any confusion that has been created by incorrect information being sent out previously.
In this evening's entertainment you will experience two unique performances; one dramatic and the other comedic. Both "shows" are entirely student run, produced, and acted. It's always a great experience, so be sure to mark you calendars for May 12th at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased the night of the performance at the PAC. Come out and support your friends in the Drama Classes. And, finally, remember that the Drama Booster Club sponsors two $1,000 scholarships. Applications can be obtained in the office and are due towards the end of May. If you have plans to pursue the Dramatic Arts in college, be sure to submit your application.
