Fund-A-Need: Expand College Counseling Services
to find the right college fit for all Woodside High Students

At Woodside High School we believe that college awareness and preparation should start early and that the college application process should be as stress-free as possible. To support the students they are today and the adults they wish to become, we are looking to add to the college counseling services on campus:
  • An additional part-time college counselor
  • 9th and 10th grade focus on college major and career exploration using Naviance so that students have solid familiarity prior to college application process
  • Small group appointments for juniors following the successful "March into College" series
  • Application and beyond assistance for seniors, providing support insuring all documents are received by the college, identifying grants and other sources for financial assistance, interpreting the college financial award letter, and helping evaluate among acceptances
  • Woodside High School graduate panels to share their college experience with current students
  • SAT test preparation for the new format of the SAT
AND much more...

Let's raise $75,000 to expand college counseling services on campus!

Your donation for Fund-A-Need will be matched dollar-to-dollar up to $25,000 by a very generous anonymous supporter of Woodside.

To donate, go online to whsfoundation.org or mail a check to:

Woodside High School Foundation
199 Churchill Avenue
Woodside, CA 94062

with "Fund-A-Need" on the memo line.

DRAMA BOOSTERS

It feels like there's a lull in the drama world at Woodside High School, but don't be fooled. The Drama Classes are working hard, putting together the all-student run, directed, staged, and acted production for our entertainment. Remember, the Drama Class production will be presented on Thursday, May 12th at 7:00pm. This is the correct time and date. The calendar on the Woodside HS website is incorrect.

Also, remember, if you are a Senior with the intention of going into theater arts in college, you can apply for the Drama Booster Club scholarship. It is our tradition to give 2 - $1,000.00 scholarships, one to a female student and one to a male student. Applications can be obtained in the Career Counseling office. The deadline is towards the end of May. You do NOT have to have participated in the Woodside Drama Department during your time at Woodside (though it doesn't hurt). We look forward to receiving your application.
