Parents Needed for AP Pre-Exam Forms Assistance
April 12 12:45-1:45pm

Mrs. Stephanie Finander, AP Exam Coordinator for Woodside High School and AP Physics teacher, has asked for parent  assistance to ensure that students correctly complete the pre-exam administrative forms. Filling out these forms accurately is extremely important. It can literally make the difference between the student receiving a score and not receiving a score.

This is not a test taking session.

12:45-1:15 Mrs. Finander will train parents on how to help students
1:15-1:45  Students will come to the PAC, hear a short explanation of what to do.

Parents will then circulate throughout the PAC answering questions and checking the forms.

Woodside is very proud of the achievement of all our AP students and the increased number of students challenging themselves with AP courses. Thanks in advance for supporting Woodside's academic mission in this way.

DRAMA BOOSTER

What an amazing show we enjoyed. I'm still feeling the great vibe of the whole production; acting and singing, costumes and sets, choreography and lights! It was fantastic. Congratulations to all who were involved in the many areas that went into putting on a show like "The Little Mermaid".
So, now what from the Drama World at Woodside High School? Well, I'm glad you asked! There are two things, one for all of us and one for a select few. First, for all of us the students in the Drama Classes at Woodside are already working on the a production that is entirely student run. It will be performed on Thursday, May 12th at 7:00pm in the PAC. That's right, one night only, so mark your calendars and make your way to the PAC for an evening of theatrical entertainment in this all student directed, produced, acted, and designed performance.

The other remaining opportunity is the annual Drama Boosters Scholarship awarded to two Woodside Seniors who see theater/drama in their futures. One male and one female student will be selected to each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Applications will be available in the Career Counseling office in April. They will be due towards the end of May. You need not have participated in drama at Woodside, though it wouldn't hurt your chances if you had been involved. Good luck to all applicants!
