Congratulations to the Music Department for a spectacular showing at Heritage Festival Competition in Southern California.  The Jazz Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, and several individuals came home with multiple trophies and awards, including multiple first places.  Go Wildcats!

2017 Parent BBQ!!!  
 
  
The Class of 2017 Parent BBQ kicks off on May 2nd. The Steinebel's are opening their home for our last parent event of the year! This BBQ is an important kickstarter to rallying the troops for ALL of our responsibilities next year -- primarily starting with football concessions (food, drink and grill sales), where we will need at least 20-25 volunteers at each home game.  
 Purchase $10 tickets online before April 30th.

 DRAMA BOOSTERS 
  
The Drama Booster Club will be meeting this Wednesday in the Wildcat Room. If you have ever been interested in seeing how you might participate in support the Woodside High School Drama Program, this is your chance! Come join us at7:00pm. AND don't forget to mark your calendars for the Drama Class Production on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00pm in the PAC. This is an all student produced, directed, and, of course, performed production. They will be presenting two "shorts": "Sorry, Shakespeare" and "The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon". Come out, support the drama program, and have a great evening of fun entertainment.

Peninsula Young Writers, Creative Writers' Workshop for High School Students 
 
Instructor Beth Harrison is an experienced writing professor and creative writer. Her workshops engage students in active participation, help students develop their own creative voice, and offer instruction in writing techniques as well as thoughtful feedback on work in progress.  For entering ninth through twelfth graders.  June 15-19.  Visit www.pwlp.org/summer-camp for more information about the workshop and to register.
