Village families are creating lasting legacies of their loved ones |

Bertha's Salon
In August, three generations of the Meyer family honored their late matriarch, Bertha Meyer, by dedicating the Creekside at the Village beauty salon in her memory. Bertha was one of the original members of Creekside at the Village and the full-service salon was named for her by her children Nancy and Bruce Meyer and Nancy and Terry Meyer and their grown children.

Rehabilitaion Lounge
Family and friends of the late Florlyn and Lawrence Freeman gathered last month to dedicate a new lounge for our rehabilitation patients, their families and their guests in the Freemans' memory. Over the years, many members of the Freeman family have been patients and residents at Wexner Heritage House, Zusman Hospice and Heritage Tower. Florlyn, who had no children of her own, generously remembered WHV in her will. |

Sacred Stories

Led by the highly trained and experienced bereavement counselors of Zusman Hospice, Sacred Stories is a new opportunity to remember and honor our loved ones' memories and the latest addition to the full menu of bereavement services our hospice offers our community.
The first Sacred Stories meeting will take place Monday, September 30, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at Wexner Heritage Village. A second event is scheduled for Monday, November 11.
Participants are invited to bring photos, journals and other mementos of their loved ones. Refreshments will be served.

Presented by the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Program (OSHIIP) of the Ohio Department of Insurance, this discussion will explain your Medicare options and what's new to Medicare in 2014, including what is and is not covered, the ins and outs of Medicare prescription benefits and how to avoid becoming a victim of unscrupulous sales practices.
The presentation will be followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer period.
