What are all those convention changes about?
I'm sure everyone has been wondering why the TAA Board has made some of the changes that we did to convention timing. We take our members concerns and input seriously and made a change in 2015 to try Sunday through Tuesday and move convention timing earlier by a month or two.
- We have received a significant amount of input from members stating that our convention was too close to the NAA convention in July.
- Many auctioneers have conflicts with Friday or Saturday because these seem to be the days that encompass the highest demand of their time.
In addition to the change in the timing of the convention, we are changing up the schedule like never before.

- Contest activities will all take place on Monday
We understand the changes have been both beneficial and concerning to members. The board is making the best decisions based on sustainability of the Association and benefit to our members as a whole.
We have a great Board of Directors and the board is here for you. We love to hear your input and feedback regarding our performance on your behalf.
We encourage you to get involved and support one of the largest Associations in the country. We are all truly blessed.
