Featuring Rob Eaton of Dark Star Orchestra; Rob Eaton Jr. of Drunken Hearts, Jake Wolf of Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Review and Tyler Grant of Grant Farm Band. Children who have participated in the School of Rock week-long day camp will also perform. Moe's BBQ and drinks will be available for purchased and/or requested donation. WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS
Do you want to be involved in the excitement of 2015?
Do you have a home in the Vail Valley with an extra bed or two?
Over 2,200 volunteers are needed for the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships and many of them will come from out of town, or even out of the country, at their own expense. They need accommodation while they volunteer their time and talent for this special event.

PUBLIC SAFETY
Minturn will save more than $100,000 a year through a deal with the Eagle County Sheriff's Office to provide police protection.

Public works is currently working on several projects, including installing power to our school tank.

GRANTS
The Town of Minturn has applied for a Department of Transportation (CDOT) Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) Grant for the surveying and engineering of pedestrian and non-motorized forms of transportation (sidewalk and shoulder) along U.S. highway 24 within the town of Minturn. This is an 80-20 matching grant for the engineering and surveying plans from Williams Street to Maloit Park Road. Estimated cost is $320,000 for final engineering and surveying of 10,500 linear feet. Minturn's 20% match is approximately $64,000.

TOWN ANNOUNCEMENTS
Special Notice: Minturn is in the initial stages of creating an Economic Development Committee for the purpose to advise, assist, support and advocate for the economic development of the town of Minturn in an effort to strengthen and expand economic opportunities within the community. The primary mechanism through which this work will be achieved will be through the creation and management of Minturn's strategic economic vision. A select number of Committee seats will be available for members of the Minturn community at large. When available, more information will be posted to the town's website.
