Readying for the Marketplace
Fr. Dan on bringing the spirit of the Mountain to our busy days
In our busy lives and during our business-driven days, we often enter a marketplace - a bustling place of social and business activity. Sometimes it's challenging to live in a world that has "gone to the market," a pejorative phase for what seems distant from a deep and human experience. We might ask, "what is my direction, my grounding?" as we wander into a lively, active, almost overwhelming place in the world. Are we swept off of our feet, or, are we learning how to take a breath and follow our way through what seems like a maze?

Weekend of Spiritual Renewal
Reflection from a recent "Spiritual Renewal" time away at the Mountain; next renewal weekend set for Sept. 27-29

St. Irenaeus teaches us that "God is glorified when His people are fully alive." Not only was I fully alive during the weekend, I could literally feel myself being drawn closer to God through the opening of my heart and the delighting of my five senses ... Read more.
Join us for our next Weekend of Spiritual Renewal Sept. 27-29
We invite all persons who are now, or would like to be, in leadership with us as we carry the life and spirit of the Mountain into homes in various regions, to join us. Opening Eucharist begins at 4:45 p.m. Sept. 27, though participants may come when they are able. If you can't complete the whole weekend, join us for an overnight or a day!
