I LOVE Halloween!! It is so much fun for Children and Adults alike, and it gives many of us a chance to step outside of our comfort zone and embrace our alter-ego for a night!!
What if we embraced this fun, light side of ourselves all year long, what would be possible then?!?
You may be rolling your eyes right now thinking "Here she goes again about possibilities!!!" My question to you is: "Have you truly embraced the fact that anything is possible for you??" If not, then my quest to help you embrace this will never be finished! ;)
My goal is to ensure that everyone recognizes, and embraces their own unique purpose in life, and experiences the freedom and joy that goes along with it!!!
"We all have possibilities we don't know about. We can do things we don't even dream we can do" ~ Dale Carnegie
So, what does this have to do with embracing the fun, light side of ourselves? Well, one of the keys to realizing our full potential is getting in touch with our authentic selves, embracing our uniqueness, and honoring our particular values and passions in life!
"Be your authentic self if you want to fulfill that dream that sleeps within your soul" ~ Unknown
It also involves acceptance of ourselves and others, and the fact that everything in our lives has happened to bring us closer to our true purpose in life.
"What do trials and tribulations have to do with our life purpose" you say?
Obstacles, as they may be called, are put in our path to:
1) Show us how strong we really are;
2) Bring to the forefront areas that need attention, but have been ignored;
3) Teach us some valuable lessons about ourselves, life, and the world around us;
4) Remind us just how grateful we can be about all of the wonderful aspects of our lives!
"Our bravest and best lessons are not learned through success, but through misadventure" ~ Amos Bronson Alcott
An important thing to remember: Don't let the past haunt you: Take the lessons learned from the past, say good-bye to it, and live in the present... with an eye to the future!
