Open Arts: Back to School Bash * THIS SATURDAY
 The Ferguson Youth Advisory Board will host their next Open Arts event this Saturday, August 17th from 6-9 pm.  It is FREE! Come to see creative youth singing, playing musical instruments, reciting poetry, rapping and displaying their art & artistic crafts ... See you on Saturday!
Call for Youth Board Members
Deadline to submit your application for this year's Ferguson Youth Advisory Board is September 27th.  Help enrich the lives of other youth by serving on the board.  There will be an informational social for interested youth on Tuesday, September 3rd at 5pm.  Location TBD
MAKING IT iBone Social Entrepreneurs Opportunity
FYI is offering three to five teens an opportunity to develop their business skills while earning a little cash for themselves. iBones are gourmet dog bones that have successfully been manufactured, marketed, and sold in the St. Louis region for years ... FYI is the new home for this innovative business and you can manage it's operations.  If interested, send an email to [email protected].
Trash to Treasure Craft Saturdays * September 14th
FYI will begin hosting sessions on how to transform trash (old furniture, shirts, soda cans, etc.) into treasure. You will learn to take old items and re-purpose them for either resale or reuse for the Youth Lounge in the old firehouse. Starts Sept 14th. 
*Next Ferguson Earn a Bike Class Starts August 26th ***
Another Earn a Bike class will be starting August 26. Please complete this application and return it by August 19th to learn about bikes, including maintenance and safety.  Grdautes of this 6-week program receive their own bike, helmet, light and lock and participate in a group safety ride.

Students (grades 5-8) have an opportunity to design a special  Challenger Learning Center-St. Louis 10th Anniversary Logo.
 
The winning logo will appear on promotional anniversary material throughout the year.
