The P714 Physical Fitness Center at the Marine Corps Air Station, New River recently achieved LEED Gold certification!
This NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic design-build project included on-site renewable energy and exceeded federal mandates for annual energy savings.
H&A worked with general contractor Whiting-Turner and architect/joint venture partner HBA Architecture to incorporate sustainable design elements.

LEED and sustainability were once newly discussed concepts that a handful of our clients were exploring; now they are at the forefront of our design process.
Today, there is a new design process that H&A is preparing for - carbon accounting.
