H&A is pleased to announce the latest embassy Design Excellence contract award by the U.S. Department of State, Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO).
H&A is providing engineering design services (mechanical, electrical, life safety, plumbing, telecommunications, and security) at the new 49,599 square meter embassy compound in Jakarta, Indonesia. We also provided engineering design, including civil, on the Davis Brody Bond bridging documents team.
PageSoutherlandPage is the design-build architect and B.L. Harbert International is providing construction services.
The constructed compound will demonstrate an elevated standard of design quality for diplomatic facilities in its architecture, engineering, and construction.

H&A is pleased to announce that our project submission for the New Embassy Compound in Monrovia, Liberia, is one of three projects receiving ACEC Virginia's 2013 Engineering Excellence Grand Award!
As a Grand Award winner, we are in the running for the top honor - the ACEC Virginia Pinnacle Award.
The Awards Gala will be held in February 2013 at the Jefferson Hotel in downtown Richmond.
