 Love the "Oscar"!

. Too tired to drag yourself to class?
Thirst is often a underlying cause of fatigue.
Can't deal with so much water? Four cups of produce will do, think watermelon, cucumber, celery and lettuce.
OH, there's a new juice bar in the Beach! Farmacia! Try it!

I just wanted to let you know I'm digging the class. My abs are definitely firmer!(a.p)

Great class tonight. My pork chop is cooked !!!

The dance cardio where we do the can cans and the other song where we do the toe taps against the wall, really make me sweat ! My heart rate was up high that's for sure! I was soaked when I got home ... Gross , but I love it!! (t.R)

Vegan, gluten free, no bake/raw

1 cup 100% natural raw peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)

3 TBS pure maple syrup or agave nectar or your preferred sugar substitute

2 TBS coconut flour

1/4 tsp fine grain sea salt

6TBS gluten free brown rice crisp cereal (Erewhon brand available at Wholesome Market or Loblaws)

3/4 cup dark carob chips or chocolate chips

1/2 TBS coconut oil

1. Stir peanut butter well before using. In a large bowl, mix together the peanut butter and maple syrup vigorously, for 30-60 seconds, until it thickens up. It will go from runny to thick during this time.

2. Stir in the coconut flour until combined (if your peanut butter is pretty dry, you may be able to skip this step, we want not too sticky, not too dry)

3. Add salt to taste, stir in cereal

4. Shape into small balls (maybe 17?)

5. In a small pot or double boiler, add the carob or chocolate chips and coconut oil and heat over low heat, stirring frequently. Once half the chips have melted, remove from heat and stir until completely smooth.

6. With a fork, dip the balls into the melted chocolate and place on a parchment lined something that can go in the freezer.  Save some chocolate if you want a second drizzle

7. Place balls in the freezer for around 6-8 min until mostly firm, take out to drizzle a chocolate design

8. Freeze the balls for another 15 min, until the chocolate is completely set. Devour, and if all 17 are gone in a day, fear not, and hit the Join Now button below

I think this is where I also plug our Dance Cardio Video! Go to, under the join now button (in the website as opposed to here on the newsletter, don't want to be confusing) scroll down to the bottom where you'll see a screen shot of the video. Best $10 ever.

If you ever have a Wed noon available, come to a drop-in class ($20, register online in the same spot on the website, at the KRUC location Kingston Rd /Victoria Park), we do a full hour and 6 minutes of dance cardio, it's awesome, you'll sleep like a baby that night. Last week one of our gals clocked it at 630 calories! woo hoo!

Nice V-day dancing dress!

Ski Bunnies! Inspirational pics and SkinnyGal testmonial!

Greatest of Ease

One of our gals gave a great testimonial to SkinnyLegs! She said she has always been a skier yet in the past few years, the first couple of runs were, I can't remember her exact words, let's say, she could feel the effort... She was surprised this year after the first run that it felt like a walk in the park, her cardio finely tuned.  So very pleased.

How much do you love the yellow Herve Leger by Max Azria ski outfit!! The leggings are only $3440. We'll see if we can use them for inspiration for our SkinnyLegs 'fashion-inspired performance apparel'!

Speaking of which, OMG, the new "Yoga Cozy", The sample came off the line Fri night and I haven't taken it off yet so I haven't even been able to put it up on the site but will do tomorrow and start taking pre-orders (we manufacture here in Toronto so have a quick turnaround but don't want to guess at the sizes to produce and have someone miss out!)

Although our name is SkinnyLegs, the above pic caption really says it all, and I often wear a sweatshirt that says the same.  Look at her beautifully sculpted strong arms and abs, yes, she's skinny, but also strong and that takes effort and determination, which is what we do. We want you to be strong, which gives you confidence, with feminine lines that age beautifully. The fact that we pull your muscles in means you are going to get smaller anyway which sounds pretty great. Can't wait to see your strength!

About SkinnyLegs

SkinnyLegs™ gets into the deep, smaller secondary muscles and literally pulls them in creating a longer, slimmer version of yourself! If your goal is to become your teeniest and tightest with really feminine lines, then SkinnyLegs™ is for you!

SkinnyLegs works your entire body to sculpt long and lean arms, legs, glutes and abs through a series of exercises with benefits taken from the ballet and pilates world together with the spirited NON-BULKING dance and interval cardio!

SkinnyLegs utilizes purely your own body weight as resistance training to strengthen, define, tighten, lift, firm and sculpt feminine arms ( light weights are incorporated ), legs, abs and bums. It has been proven that with repetitive exercise focusing on the larger muscles (ie. the treadmill, running, biking...) your larger muscles will do what they are meant to do, become larger and stronger.

SkinnyLegs women's only classes will contract your deep, smaller secondary muscles, keeping them guessing through weekly changing exercises and therefore working to create a long, lean physique. The cardio portion incorporates calorie torching dance cardio interspersed with interval training which enhances your results, your endurance and flexibility.

The very nature of the SkinnyLegs program is weekly changing and increasingly challenging to keep you interested and your muscles continually working in the right direction, smaller, tighter, stronger, leaner.

Looking forward to seeing you this week!
