Plenary Speaker:  Saturday, October 29th - William E. Strickland, Jr.

As a Pittsburgh youth besieged by racism in the crumbling remains of the steel economy, Bill Strickland should have been one of the Rust Belt's casualties. Instead, he discovered the potter's wheel, and the transforming power of fountains, irrepressible dreams, and the slide show
(TedTalk preamble).

Bill Strickland is the President and CEO of Manchester Bidwell Corporation and its subsidiaries, Manchester Craftsmen's Guild (MCG) and Bidwell Training Center (BTC), both founded in 1968, and National Center for Arts and Technology.  Read more.
