The Family Medicine Education Consortium would like to congratulate the Johns Hopkins University Family Medicine Interest Group on their Program of Excellence Award from the American Academy of Family Physicians! We have had the pleasure of watching student interest in population health, primary care and family medicine blossom over the years.  Your events are always exciting, collegial, and fun, and they also serve to foster relationships between faculty and programs throughout the north east region.  The FMEC looks forward to celebrating your achievement at the AAFP National Conference in Kansas City as well as at our national meeting in Boston.  Both MedStar and JHU have been significant supporters of our FMEC scholarship program and the interest your group generates has led to 52 scholarships for JHU students.  Your success makes our job much easier and we thank you!
