A.k.a. "Queen's Day" or ("Koninginnedag" in

Dutch), celebrating her 75th birthday

this year and her last year as

reigning Queen

and the

Enthronement of his Royal Highness Prince Willem-Alexander of Oranje

Heir apparent to the throne of the Kingdom

of the Netherlands, who will succeed

Queen  Beatrix to become the first

King of the Netherlands

since 1890!

Please join us at this special event on:

SUNDAY APRIL 28, 2013

This fun-packed day is not only in honor of our Royal family but also a celebration of Dutch culture. 'Queen's Day' is the Dutch most-beloved holiday! They celebrate the Dutch monarchy every year with a super big party, including lots of good music, (Dutch) food and drinks, games, a flea market and much more, all around the country. ... and in Tucson, AZ!

Guests of Honor:

Both LtCol RNLAF Maurice Schonk and Honorary Consul Mr. Siebe van der Zee (Consulate of the Netherlands, Scottsdale, AZ) will be joining us for this celebration!

Dress Code:

Anything comfortable you like, but also try to wear something ORANGE (referring to The House of Orange-Nassau (in Dutch: Huis van Oranje-Nassau), the Dutch royal family).
