IMPORTANT Announcement:
Enhancement to Gas Equipment Company's Online Ordering system-Virtual Warehouse.
|
Very soon, Gas Equipment Company will be going LIVE with a whole NEW look-and-feel on our Web Order Entry (WOE) experience. The new interface release update will look a little different, but the main page contains the same information with updates to remove "My" from several menu options and keep the scrolling banners intact.
- The new upgrade will allow customers to run the New WOE interface on any of the major browsers, including Internet Explorer 8 and above, Firefox, and Chrome. AND, it will now be optimized for modern browsers that support HTML5 and CSS3.
- This will provide an improved experience on mobile devices such as Smart phones and tablets.
- The new display re-sizes to the interface/device being used. Menu options collapse to fit or display through icons.
- Banners will still be supported and scrolling still works for the Specials. You can manually scroll or they auto-scroll ever 5 seconds.
- Page Breaks are now supported when printing invoices.
- Account information has been moved into an Account drop down menu.
- Embedded help has been improved and updated to reflect these new changes.
- Wording for menu options has been changed to remove "my" in the names, such as My Account is now Account. This change streamlines the look of the menu options and does not limit the menu when displayed on a smaller screen, such as a Smart phone.

Valentine's Day, also known as Saint Valentine's Day or the Feast of Saint Valentine, is celebrated on the 14th of February each year. It began as a memorial for the Christian Saint Valentinus who lived during the Roman Empire and was reported to have performed illegal marriages for Roman soldiers who were not allowed to marry, and to have helped other Christians. Part of the legacy states that just before he died, his last letter to someone he'd healed was signed "from your Valentine." It wasn't until the 1300's and the writing of Geoffrey Chaucer that the day took on romantic implications. By the 1500's lovers were exchanging flowers, notes and confectionery.
Fast forward to today, and the customs have evolved to the point that the U.S. Greeting Card Association estimates that approximately 190 million valentines are sent each year in the US.
