The LV3403B4 is designed to reduce first stage pressure of 5-20 PSIG down to burner pressure normally 11"WC. Designed as a second stage regulator for smaller applications with flow requirements up to 450,000 BTU's/HR, they are ideal for homes, mobile homes, and cottages.
Features
- Large vent helps prevent vent blockage, it is tapped for 3/8"F.NPT for vent piping.
- With 15 PSIG inlet pressure, the regulator is designed to not pass more than 2 PSIG downstream with the seat disc removed.
- Incorporates an integral relief valve.
- Unique bonnet vent profile minimizes vent freeze over when properly installed.
- Compact design saves space.
- Built in pressure taps 1/8" F.NPT on both regulator inlet and downstream side of the regulator. Plugs can be removed with a 3/16" hex Allen wrench.
- Select brown finish.

NEW A6010, A6016, & A6024 Emergency Shutoff Valves
|
RegO's New A6010 (1-1/4"),  A6016 (2") & A6024 (3") Emergency Shutoff Valves
Replace the existing 6010, 6016, 6024 & AA6010, AA6016, AA6024 ESV's. The new valves are NPFA 58 and UL Listed for both LPG and NH3 applications whereas the previous valves were product specific.
In addition RegO will also provide a VA6010, VA6016, and VA6024 Series ESV with a Viton seat disc for use with other products such as Propylene. Please contact us if you have an immediate need for a Viton valve.
Application
Designed for installation in liquid or vapor transfer lines at LP-Gas or Anhydrous Ammonia bulk plants to provide for quick shut-off of liquid or vapor flow in the event of an accidental pull-away, line break, or hose rupture.
Features
Meets NFPA 58 and UL requirements.
- Fusible element is located in the thermal fuse assembly, which acts as latch open and close trigger. When exposed to fire, the element melts at 212 degrees F. allowing the shaft to return to the closed position.
- Valve can be opened by use of operating lever, if a pneumatic actuator is used it will open with the actuator.
- Valve can be closed by remote cable or pneumatic actuator.
- Valve can be closed by simply pushing the operating lever down; it is not necessary to trip the close trigger.

RegO's Adjustable Regulator Vent Kits are
supplied with two reusable end connections installed on the flexible tubing, a mounting bracket with self-tapping screw, 90 degree vent elbow and installation instructions.
The LV960 Series Adjustable Vent Kits can accommodate custom installations with reusable ends that can be removed and the tubing cut to the desired length and then reinstalled. For this reason additional connections are available to extend or modify them to meet your specific regulator venting requirements.

TECH Topic: Wet Hosing at your Bulk Plants
With the New NFPA 58 Regulations on Facility Hoses it Makes ECONOMIC Sense to INVEST in SMART-HOSE Facility Hoses from GEC

We have observed recently that in some states a large number of marketers do not utilize facility hoses at their bulk plants for the unloading of transports into their storage tanks. One of our customers who recently purchased a new Smart-Hose facility hose in preparation of complying with the New NFPA 58 Regulations in the 2014 edition (Section 6.19.2.6(3)) explained to our representative that due to the higher costs of propane, he had calculated it will save him money to invest in a facility hose.
He explained the following economic justification:
- A 2" diameter x 19' hose will contain 716.57 cubic inches of propane liquid.
- 716.57 cubic inches = 3.10 gallons
- 3.1 gallons X 150 loads per year = 465 gallons per year.
- 465 gallons per year @ $1.20344 (BPN posting on 4/17/2014) = $466.20 is LOST per year, when not wet-hosing at a stationary bulk storage plant where you receive product from a transport.
He stated, based on his annual volume, he will see a full payback for his 15' facility hose in less than a year.
IMPORTANT REGULATORY NOTICE: NFPA 58 (2014 edition) has added New FACILITY HOSE regulations. Section 6.19.2.6(3)* requires a bulk plant to be equipped with an emergency discharge control system that provides a means to shut down the flow of LP-Gas caused by the complete separation of the facility hose within 20 seconds and without the need for human intervention.
The Smart-Hose facility hose meets this regulatory requirement.

I'd like to thank my legs, for always supporting me; my arms, who are always by my side and lastly my fingers, I can always count on them.
In many cases, Thanksgiving would be much more heartily enjoyed if it came BEFORE election day!
And then there was this dysfunctional family:
An elderly man in Phoenix calls his son in New York and says, "I hate to ruin your day, but I have to tell you that your mother and I are divorcing; forty-five years of misery is enough."
"Pop, what are you talking about?" the son screams.
"We can't stand the sight of each other any longer," the old man says. "We're sick of each other, and I'm sick of talking about this, so you call your sister in Chicago and tell her," and he hangs up.
Frantic, the son calls his sister, who explodes on the phone. "Like hell they're getting divorced," she shouts, "I'll take care of this." She calls Phoenix immediately, and screams at the old man, "You are NOT getting divorced. Don't do a single thing until I get there. I'm calling my brother back, and we'll both be there tomorrow. Until then, don't do a thing, DO YOU HEAR ME?" and hangs up.
The old man hangs up his phone, too, and turns to his wife. "Okay," he says, "they're coming for Thanksgiving. Now what do we tell them for Christmas?"
