WE NEED YOUR HELP: Please Click On Answers

Please respond by clicking on one answer to each of the following two questions:
Gas Equipment is currently evaluating a design for a complete Dispenser/Pump/Tank/Skid Package. And we need your help on the Preferred design specification. We would like to know if Marketers prefer a one-piece Skid Package assembly that includes a one-piece skid, tank, pump/motor assembly and dispenser cabinet already mounted and piped as a single package or if they prefer a modular skid with pump/motor assembly, dispenser and tank that can be assembled on-site?
We understand it is very expensive to ship a complete skid package assembled with a one-piece skid, tank, dispenser and pump/motor assembly and that a crane is required to off-load that assembly at the destination versus the minimal shipping and convenience of a modular assembly. But we would like to know your preference?
In addition we have seen the demand vary for a dedicated Autogas dispenser packages and for combination Autogas/Cylinder filling dispenser packages; Which is your preference or what is your current demand?
PLEASE CLICK ONLY ONE ANSWER FOR EACH QUESTION:
- Do you prefer a ONE-PIECE Dispenser/Pump/Tank Skid Package or MODULAR?
ONE-PIECE MODULAR
- Do you prefer a Dedicated AUTOGAS or Combination AUTOGAS/CYLINDER Filling Dispenser Package?

Did You Know?
If you have a ¾" or 1" Neptune/Itron meter with a model 600 register; AND need to communicate with an existing card-lock fuel management system?
Then GEC has the economical solution for you!

Neptune manufactures an Electronic Digital Pulse Transmitter for the model 600 registers on 3/4" and 1" Neptune mechanical flow-meters.
Digital transmitters produce signals that exist only in one of two states: ON or OFF. These states may also be referred to as HIGH or LOW, or 1 or 0 (zero). GEC is now stocking the model VR7697 pulse transmitter (Part Number: 100841.000) for field installation on a Neptune Model 600 register. This economical and versatile bidirectional digital pulse transmitter provides 10 pulses per revolution with excitation power of 115-250 VAC or 12-36 VDC, making it compatible with most remote read-out equipment.
In other words, if you already have a Neptune ¾" or 1" meter with a model 600 mechanical register; you can install this Pulse Transmitter on your existing register and now be able to communicate with various key/code/card readers and fuel management systems. For instance, if a fleet customer currently has a fuel management system for their conventional refined fuels and you are adding an Autogas dispenser for propane vehicles; by installing this pulse transmitter on the propane meter register, you can now send pulses to the existing fuel management system. No need to purchase a redundant system just for the propane dispenser.
The Part Number, for the VR7697 Pulser with Model 45 adapter for a 600 register and includes all mounting hardware, is #100841.000.

The VR7697 pulse transmitter is designed for field installation and mounts on top of the register. This location accesses the "R" & "S" gear assembly and keeps the transmitter out of the way and easily accessible for the conduit and wiring. As shown here in our DCS59GAL style dispenser:

Manchester Tank Safety Bulletin
10-2-2012: Thread seal issue on 100# cylinders manufactured between January 2012 and September 2012

Manchester Tank has identified a thread seal issue on 100# cylinders manufactured between January 2012 and September 2012. This issue can result in leaks at the valve to cylinder connection. This potential leak issue only involves 100# DOT cylinders with a single vapor POL valve. It does not involve cylinders of other sizes or liquid service or multivalve cylinders. This issue only involves 100# cylinders with a date stamp between 1-12 and 10-12.
When asked to fill a 100# Manchester cylinder, follow these steps:
- Before filling, inspect the date stamp of any Manchester Tank 100# cylinders you may encounter. If the date falls between 1-12 and 10-12, check the handwheel on the valve. If the center of the handwheel contains a green dot, the cylinder has been re-inspected and corrected by Manchester Tank as needed. A cylinder with the green dot on the handwheel may be filled and used with the same safety precautions as any propane cylinder. If there is no green dot on the center of the handwheel, proceed to steps 2 or 3 as applicable.
- If the cylinder has been filled previously, carefully check the threaded connection where the service valve is installed into the cylinder for leaks before re-filling. If no leak is found and the cylinder is re-filled, the valve connection to the cylinder should again be leak tested before transport to ensure the container is leak free. If a leak is found, please call Manchester Tank at: 615-370-6312 to report the issue and Manchester will arrange for repair or replacement of the cylinder.
- If the cylinder has not been filled previously, please contact Manchester Tank at 800-640-6327 for additional information before filling. DO NOT FILL THE CYLINDER BEFORE CONTACTING MANCHESTER TANK.
All cylinders must be carefully inspected and leak checked each time they are filled regardless of cylinder size or when made. However, we ask that you exercise particular care in leak testing those 100# cylinders with a date stamp range between 1-12 and 10-12. This date stamp is located on the collar of the cylinder above the Tare Weight stamp.
For any questions or concerns, please contact Manchester Tank at 800-640-6327.
