Dear Community Members and Stakeholders:

The City of San José Police and Housing Departments are seeking input from the community on a multi-family rental housing crime prevention program.  The meetings are being held to 1) collect public input on crime and safety in and around the City's multi-family rental buildings, and 2) to share information on the nationwide Crime Free Program, and discuss a potential alternative program.  The desired outcome of these meetings is to better understand the needs of the community and how the City can enhance partnerships between rental property owners, residents, and local jurisdictions to reduce crime within multi-family buildings and the surrounding neighborhood.

Please join us at one of the community meetings listed below to assist City staff and stakeholders in evaluating a suitable crime prevention program within the City of San José.  We encourage you to join us at one of the series of meetings to learn about ways to keep our city clean and safe, and to explore potential opportunities to engage our partners.
