Advice For Sensitive People

Have you ever felt your energy drained, your mind dull and confused and your body tired with exhaustion when you are around certain people? Well then read on....

As an empath, I realized that no matter how hard I try by protecting my energy and clearing my senses, I still find myself reeling from the negative effects of words, sights, sounds and overall negative energy from people - ESPECIALLY from those people close to me.

I love my family members and friends but I can't always change them to be more positive, I can only be an example. And yet, it becomes so hard after a visit or conversation with them to get myself back to feeling good again. It used to take me hours, even days sometimes, to get back to being myself again.

Until one day in meditation, my higher self led me to a process that helped me in less than 20 minutes - one which I do everyday now. 

I'd like to share this process with you:

1). Go to a sacred space where you can meditate. (if you desire, call in any or all of the Divine to fill this space)

2). In this meditation, call your spirit 'home' (your spirit is the essence of your true self that is Divine, whole and complete).  Imagine your spirit is filling up your auric energy field (the space within a full arm's length that is all around you like a bubble), then your body and mind.

3). While sitting in this space with your spirit, imagine 1 person whose energy negatively effects you. Say to that person (mentally or out loud), "I allow you to be who you are and on your own journey". Breathe deeply while you let that sink in.

4). Feel the effects of all that negative energy moving out of your body, out of your mind and out of your auric field. Be in appreciation of this. Give thanks to your spirit and to your higher self (and any or all of the Divine if you wish).

5.) Repeat with another person if needed.

When I did this for the first time, the person actually transformed into someone who was happy - just as I know they are in Divine truth. I was surprised to see that. I feel so nurtured, safe, supported and loved in the new 'clean' energy and more connected to my spirit and the Divine than ever before. It's truly glorious
