Who Will Run Your Business if You are "Hit by the Bus"?
You have worked many years to establish your family business. Now you need to step away from the day-to-day and answer a very important question: Who will run my business when I'm not here to run it?

I was recently interviewed by FW Inc. magazine discussing business succession planning.  Do you have a plan?  Many business owners don't know where to start, or they postpone planning because they think they will work for many more years and are indispensable.

I often use a football analogy when I talk to business owners about succession planning, comparing the owner to a quarterback. The quarterback is on the field and the kids are standing at the other end of the field not knowing what to do with the football that's coming at them.  It's time for you to move from being the quarterback to being the coach and training a new quarterback. That's really the guts of succession planning.

Over the years, our firm has helped many clients develop a successful succession plan.  Contact us if you would like to begin this discussion for your business.
