Congratulations to Amy, Rachel and Christine for passing the exam to receive their Board Certification in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Board Certification is a voluntary designation program for attorneys. To apply for Board Certification in a specialty area, an attorney must have:
Been licensed to practice law for at least five years;
Devoted a required percentage of practice to a specialty area for at least three years;
Handled a wide variety of matters in the area to demonstrate experience and involvement;
Attended continuing education seminars regularly to keep legal training up to date;
Been evaluated by fellow lawyers and judges;
Passed a 6-hour written examination.
In Texas, there are less than 700 Board Certified attorneys in Estate Planning and Probate Law and only 218 Board Certified attorneys in Tax Law.  We currently have ten attorneys certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law and two attorneys certified in Tax Law
The Blum Firm is committed to a standard of excellence by not only hiring the brightest, but also developing an atmosphere for attorneys to become their best.  We are proud to offer our best to you.

Please join us in congratulating Amy, Rachel, and Christine!
