David Palmer will be looking to win his second consecutive PST World Championship this weekend. Thierry Lincou is making his first appearance in the PST championship event and will be looking to bring home the title as well. But don't count out England's Robbie Temple, Australia's Wade Johnstone, or Northern Ireland's John Roberts. Each of them could see a path to the title as well.

 Well, wouldn't you know it. The Squashist lives.
Last week we noted it seemed he was done. A day later, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, the Squashist was resurrected. John White gets more than his racquet up on a squash court. At a recent "Legends" event, we hear they measured his heart rate at a whopping 214 beats per minute during match play. - Former Northeastern University coach, and great guy, Luke Forster is now on his way to Ohio. NU has a habit of attracting talented young coaches who quickly find better gigs elsewhere.
- Has PST Commissioner Joe McManus eased up on some of his harsh rules?
- We hear PST quietly relaxed its goggles requirement, and now has a few more scenarios where they play lets.
- Northern Ireland's John Roberts was the open qualifier for the PST Championship. But he is a contender. Roberts comfortably beat former PST #1 Mohamed El Sherbini in league play this past year.
- Roberts became famous in squash circles in 2012 when we was a captain for Yale.
- It was Roberts who won the deciding match when Yale ended Trinity College's epic 14 year long, 252 match winning streak.
- Thierry Lincou is making his first appearance this year at the PST World Championship. The Frenchman couldn't attend last year's event because he was representing France at the European Team Championships.
- David Palmer's Squash Academy is reportedly becoming a popular destination for collegiate off-season training.
