Thierry Lincou (France) beat David Palmer (Australia) 11-5, 11-5, 3-11, 14-12 Sunday at the Detroit Athletic Club to win the 2014 PST World Championship. It is Lincou's first PST title. - Congrats to Philadelphia Squash Club's Mike Jefferys, who is celebrating his 12th anniversary in the U.S. #GoodGuy
- We hear two lads from Burton, England just set the World Record for the longest squash marathon. Adam Bates and Alex Gill played for 33 hours breaking the prior mark of 32 hours.
- The North American Junior Open is accepting registrations now for the summer extravaganza. A few year back, when US Squash was flexing its legal muscles, they told the Canadian based event to change its name since US Squash thought they had rights to it.
- To their credit, the Canadians told their southern neighbors to back down.
- And US Squash eventually did just that.
- PST's Joe McManus thinks the tour has found the right balance between free flowing squash and appropriate replays (lets).
