Lincou Wins Bobcat Classic
| Thierry Lincou remains undefeated in PST action after beating David Palmer 11-9, 11-8, 9-11, 2-11, 11-9 in the finals of last week's Bobcat Classic held at Bates College.

Palmer Barely Survives Khalifa
|
David Palmer barely survived a scare from intercollegiate champion Amr Khaled Khalifa in PST action this past Saturday.
Game scores were 9-11, 9-11, 11-4, 11-5, 11-9.
Khalifa was making his debut in PST tournament action, and it marked the first time the two had met in tournament play.
"This is one indication of how high the level of play is in College Squash today," said PST's Joe McManus.

- Alan Thatcher has run the SquashUK.com website for years. This past week he changed the name to SquashMad.com. Still a great site, but we liked Squash UK's name better.
- Who was the greatest: Jahangir Khan or Jansher Khan?
- They faced each other 37 times in competition.
- Jansher won 19 times. Jahangir won 18.
- In those 37 matches, Jahangir won 79 games and Jansher won 74.
- In those 153 games, Jahangir won 23 points more than Jansher.
- How good is College Squash right now? David Palmer was fortunate to survive an 11-9 fifth game victory over reigning intercollegiate champion Amr Khaled Khalifa.
- PST Commish Joe McManus is telling every one he sees how impressed he was with the young Khalifa, who he calls a "role model" on and off the court.
