Blogger Rebukes "Mediocre" U.S. Men
| This week the Squash Dashers and Bashers Blog pulled no punches in attacking almost everyone involved with the United States Men's Squash Team.
We are paraphrasing below, but his message was: - the US team was an embarrassment
- Paul Assaiante is not a great squash mind
- Julian Illingworth no longer trains hard and should step aside
- Gilly Lane is not good for the team
- Dylan Murray is overrated
- Chris Gordon actually is complimented for being a complete player and hard worker

He screams for help.
A trainer assists him.
The referee says Gaultier has already used his injury timeout and gives the match to Nick Matthew.
Gaultier springs to his feet and says he's ok.
The referee says "no, no, no, sorry."
Hometown French fans heckle the referee.
The referee changes his mind and says "play on" like it never happened.

- SquashInfo.com reports St. Lawrence University freshman (and reigning College National Champion) Amr Khaled Khalifa began playing PSA tournaments in 2008.
- 43 tournaments and 132 professional matches over four years, and he is still eligible for College Squash matches ?
- The T Squash Center in Cincinnati, Ohio has added three new courts to its existing five. Good management or squash's growth? Either way, it's nice to see.
- At the World Team Championships, the room was electric in Mulhouse, France when France was competing against England.
- Rumor has it that Amr Shabana and Mohamed El Shorbagy were available to play for Egypt at the World Teams. But they wanted more money.
- No pay. No play. No World Championship.
- SquashSite.co.uk reigns supreme in England's squash scene. However, World Team Championship organizers in France wouldn't allow Publisher Steve Cubbins on court to photograph the trophy presentation to the English team.
- The Australian Open seems to have quietly disappeared from the calendar.
