Join us this September for Day to Serve!

Join us this September 11th through the 28th for Day to Serve and volunteer with fellow residents of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and DC! Volunteer activities will aim to feed the hungry, clean up neighborhoods, and improve communities.

Day to Serve is a unique annual event that transcends politics and religious differences. It unites people of all faiths, races, cultures, and backgrounds with the shared goal of helping those in need and improving the communities where we live.

During the second annual Day to Serve in 2013, the governors and mayor increased their commitments resulting in over 40,000 volunteers that included more than 12,000 youth. These volunteers completed 140,000 hours of service across 1,300 events throughout the region. Volunteers collected and donated over 950,000 lbs of food, collected 12,000 bags of trash, and planted 1,600 trees.

Want to get involved? Find an event in a community near you! Or, have a service event and want to recruit volunteers? Be sure to register your event at www.DaytoServe.org.
