Best of Show: Fur, Feathers, Flippers & Fuzz

June 26 - August 4, 2013

Reception Today: June 30, 2-4PM

Best of Show is a title given to an animal whose qualities so impress the judges at, for instance, a dog show, that the animal is declared
The Best over all the others. But in fact, we who have real pets or imagined ones know that our own animals, whether with fur, feathers, fins or fuzz, are the best, no matter how scruffy, smelly, friendly, and not-so-obedient they are. This exhibition hopes to honor our animal loves, real or imagined, publicly; they're all The Best, in this show.

Sculpture Is 2013
June 1 - October 31, 2013

Sculpture Is
We had a great opening reception at the garden, with terrific guests, entertainment, and food.  We thank the Rosendale's for their generosity in providing this fabulous space for our show;  Hedwig Heerschop for her extraordinary planning skills, Sharon and Norma for all their assistance; the Gallery Committee; and all of the volunteers that made the event possible.

The exhibit is open through the end of November.  Wear your sun screen, put on your walking shoes, bring a picnic lunch and enjoy this exceptional exhibit.

Sierra Azul Nursery and Gardens is open  9:00am to 5:30pm daily.  Located at 2660 E. Lake Avenue, Sierra Azul is right across the street from the Agriculture History Project.  Make a day of it and visit both shows!
