ART Matters
As we come to an end in the school year, I want to thank you all for your support of the Art Department. I would love to hear some feedback from you as far as what changes you would like to see in the upcoming editions of ArtMatters Revisited. What types of features would you be interesting in seeing in the newsletter? Have you seen any new exhibitions that you thought were of particular interest? Please remember; I need your help in keeping current on alumni news, so do not hesitate to send me any information.

Steven S. Walker, Otterbein Lecturer and Art Collection Registrar has been selected to create the awards for the 2014 Governor's Awards. Walker is a Westerville resident and painter, most known for his landscapes. The Governor's Awards will take place Wednesday, May 21 at the Columbus Athenaeum. In a recent article published by the Ohio Arts Council, Walker stated, "It's especially meaningful to me as an artist because there is some validation in knowing that your work will be enjoyed by such great contributors to the arts. I think most folks love the arts and yet somehow they are widely overlooked. To share my talent with these champions of the arts means the world to me."
