From the Director
| |

Welcome back! We hope you had a restful break and are re-energized for the final months of the school year. This April, CTL is sponsoring two series of events--a new Inclusive Teaching Series, and a set of sessions to introduce you to a new Blackboard interface.
In this newsletter, you'll find more information on these and other events and programs. And we are unveiling an exciting new calendar that will help you keep track of all the professional development opportunities on campus.
Happy spring!

Inclusive Teaching Series
| |
Dear Colleagues,
During my first six months at Otterbein, one of the most frequent types of questions I hear from faculty are about ways to be effective teachers with different groups of students, e.g., students with disabilities, students for whom English is not their first language, etc. These questions show me how much Otterbein faculty care about being an inclusive and welcoming place to learn, but they also gave us the idea for a new series at CTL. read more and to register here

This change will occur on May 23rd and although all of your course shells, files and attachments will be right where you left them, there are a few interface changes. In order to ensure you are up to speed, the Center for Teaching and Learning will be coordinating training workshops on April 16th, April 18th, and April 24th.
