 Lady Bobcats Go to The National Basketball Tournament!
The ILS Girls' basketball team will be competing in the 2016 Lutheran National Basketball tournament this weekend! The LBAA posted game time information online. The girls play their first game at 9:10 a.m. on Friday. More information can be found at www.lbaa.org. Go Bobcats!

Food, Family and Fellowship - Thursday, March 31 4:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Pie Five AND Menchie's!
Our March Food, Family and Fellowship restaurant fundraiser will be at Pie Five AND Menchie's, both on Dundee Road in Palatine on Thursday, March 31. Pie Five will give back 20% of net sales from 4:00 - 10:00 p.m. A flyer is attached. Come on out, "eat some pizza and raise some dough" for Immanuel. Pie Five Pizza Co. is located at 787 East Dundee Road, Palatine and Menchie's Yogurt is located next door. Menchie's is also participating in the fundraiser! Families can have dinner at Pie Five and then go next door to Menchie's frozen yogurt for dessert. Menchie's will give back 20% from Immanuel orders from 12:00 - 9:00 p.m. Menchie's Flyer. |
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
You might being hearing the term FCA thrown around at Immanuel. The first question you might have is, "What is FCA?" It is Fellowship of Christian Athletes. It's a ministry organization that started over 50 years ago. FCA's mission is to present to athletes and coaches, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church. We will be starting that here at Immanuel. All of the high school youth involved in athletics are invited to join us on Sunday, April 3 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss more of what FCA is and our goals with starting this ministry. If you have any questions please speak to Pastor Donald.

This year marks the 21st year that Immanuel has sponsored the Hospitality Tent. Since 1995 our students and adult volunteers have helped make this a fun and memorable experience for the Special Olympic athletes. Find out how you can be a part of it.

WIBAF Scholarships Available
The Women in Business Advisory Forum (WIBAF), a networking group of the Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce, is offering two scholarships to graduating high school women from the Palatine Area. Applications are due to the Chamber office by Thursday, April 28.
