An intense introduction into the basics of the fine art of silversmithing. Learn how to use a torch, soldering, sawing, and hammering plus other texture techniques. Students will complete 3-5 pieces of finished Sterling Silver jewelry.

Only offered in the Fall/Winter, these popular 3 hour workshops are a schedule friendly way to learn a new technique. Wednesday mornings 10:30-1:30 or evenings 6:30-9:30, you choose. Pick one or two or fill your passport book and take them all! Pick up your book at SilverWorks.Schedule:

Free studio time while you man the studio
You want to be in the studio but the open studio fee adds up. Volunteer as an assistant and play for free!
SilverWorks is seeking students to volunteer to oversee open studio sessions. You must have spent time in open studio and are comfortable with the tools. You watch over your fellow smiths, tumble their work, greet the public all while taking advantage of open studio for yourself. A little orientation is all you need.
