Embody School of Pilates is Now in Session

We are so delighted to host such wonderful Trainees from across the country.  The Embody School of Pilates is a 12 month, 850 hour Classical Pilates Teacher-Training Diploma.  Students are required to be at Embody for lectures for 10 day intensives every other month and work on their internship requirements at their home studio in between lecture weeks.  There are 8 exams, written and practical, as well as a research project required before graduation. Our first week of Lectures was a huge success and we'd like to thank the clients of Embody for being so supportive and understanding during the extra busy training week.  The trainees learned so much from observing and taking classes with you!

We are very excited to share our feature, "Inspiration of the month," where students of Embody Pilates share their experience.  This month's feature is Kathryn Nicholls.

Free Movie Night: Friday March 22nd 7-8:30pm
The final feature of our winter movie night's will be showing the complete advanced reformer series as well as a few segments of Romana teaching an advanced mat class.  Come and be inspired.  
 
Did we mention there is FREE POPCORN?!?! :) 
Pilates Prop Week: March 18th - March 23rd


Once a month, we like to utilize Pilates Props in our Mat classes.  The Magic Circle and Foam roller are excellent tools to help open the body, increase our body awareness and deepen our connections.  Due to their popularity, students asked to be notified ahead of time so they can load up on their mat classes that week.  Mark it on your calendars, March 18th - March 23rd and be prepared for the fun!

Joseph Pilates Challenge Deadline extended to April 10th, 2013.

Due to the influx of trainees and new students at Embody, many of you have written and expressed concern that despite you're best intentions to get your classes in, many of the classes, especially equipment ones, are full.  This is just part of the challenges that comes with growth, but we appreciate your patience and understanding.  As a result, we have extended the deadline to April 10th to complete the Winter Joseph Pilates Challenge. 
*please note, all classes purchased as part of the Challange will expire after April 10th*    
Foam Roller Workshop: Sat April 20th 2-4pm
Due to popular demand from our Pilates prop classes, this 2 hr workshop will fully explore the wide range of strengthening exercises and self myofascial massage techniques that can be done on the Foam Roller. Take your Pilates Practice to the next level by increasing your body awareness, balance and flexibility. Includes a take home manual so you can keep up your practice at home.

Spring is Here!
As the days become longer and the weather warmer we welcome spring with open arms.  We have made a few changes to the schedule and added classes to help meet your needs.  We recommend pre-registering in advance to avoid disappointment.
