Travel Improves Educational Attainment and Future Success!
Students who engage in learning-focused travel see benefits such as improved academic performance and higher earning potential later in their careers, according to a new Travel Effect survey conducted by the Wagner Group.
Educational travel correlates with two of the markers most commonly seen as indicators of success: higher education and personal income. Best of all these benefits are realized regardless of gender, ethnicity, socioeconomic class and other demographic factors.
Some of the key findings are:
* Educational-travel experiences are vital to a complete education;
* Students who travel achieve better grades;
* Are more likely to pursue higher levels of education; and
* Go on to earn a 12 percent higher personal income annually compared to their non-traveling peers.
