This celebration of Vermont's history and heritage returns with nearly 150 history and heritage organizations offering exhibits sharing community history from all over the state. This exhibit documents the stories of eight working farms and features Chad Finer's photographs, a series of Vermont Folklife Center oral history interviews with each of the farmers, and a video by Ben Silberfarb. A VHC grant supports upcoming associated workshops. Learn more.

Bookstock brings forty poets, writers, and artists to read from and discuss their work. Keynote presentations include novelist Anita Diamant, poet Charles Simic, and special guest Billy Collins. The festival also includes a Vermont Reads Wonder event with teacher Sam Drazin. And also look for a huge used book sale, exhibition tent, music, and food. Learn more.
