THANKS-4-GIVING SUNDAY!

Who knew that gratitude, our wholeness, and well-being are so interconnected? Join us Sunday at 10 a.m. as we complete our series with Louise Hay's book "Gratitude: A Way of Life." And of course, we will gratefully celebrate each and every beloved UnityCR volunteer. The celebration will include a traditional Thanksgiving meal immediately following the service. The leadership circle (Board of Trustees and Licensed Unity Leaders) is preparing the meal as a way of showing their appreciation for our congregation. Plan to join us for a great commUnity connection time!

DR. JANINE AMBROSE GUEST MUSICIAN SUNDAY

Dr. Janine Ambrose will provide the special music for our Sunday service. She is a composer, pianist, motivational speaker, writer, and artist. Janine plays the piano and has the ability to channel music from her subjects to create healing energy for a group or individual. In addition, Janine is the mother of six children, ranging in the ages of 33 to 13, and believes that life is her greatest teacher. Her motto is: Knowledge brings forth truth, releasing fear, creating happiness.

"THE VISION WORKSHOP" SUNDAY AFTERNOON

After enjoying the Thanks-4-Giving dinner on Sunday, join certified life mastery consultant Cynthia Stravrou from 12:15-2:30 for "The Vision Workshop, 3 Keys to Accelerating Your Results." This dynamic and fun workshop will show you ways to define, design, and experience your dreams. A $20 love offering is suggested.

INTER-RELIGIOUS THANKSGIVING SERVICE NOV. 24

If you're looking for a sacred experience of Thanksgiving, consider attending this year's Inter-Religious Council service on Monday, November 24 at 7 p.m. at Temple Judah (3221 Lindsay Lane SE, Cedar Rapids). We'll enjoy sacred prayers and lovely music from many faith traditions. Our own Joshua Haun will share Unity prayers.

TRAVEL TO THE UK AND HELP UNITYCR

Nancy Dearborn, group coordinator with Go Ahead Tours, is promoting a 12-day trip departing June 30 to England, Scotland and Ireland. Several UnityCR members have expressed interest. Now is the time to act! Most of you have received the request for financial support communique from the board. Nancy will donate $100 to UCR for each of the first 6 people who sign up for this trip, totaling $600. If you sign up by Nov. 30, you will get a free excursion. This is a win/win situation!
