"LIVING ORIGINALLY" WORKSHOP TOMORROW!

Rev. Robert Brumet, author of "Living Originally: Ten Spiritual Practices to Transform Your Life," is presenting a workshop on his approach to spiritual transformation on tomorrow, November 16 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at UnityCR. "Living Originally" is the art of learning and using ten core spiritual practices in our daily living. Those currently studying this book at UCR and all others won't want to miss hearing this special master teacher! Besides being an author, Robert is an ordained Unity minister and teaches courses in pastoral counseling, meditation and spiritual development at Unity Institute and Seminary in Unity Village, Missouri.The last day to register is today (Nov 15). Call the Unity office at 319-393-5422 . The suggested love offering is $25.

 

REV. ROBERT BRUMET IS GUEST SPEAKER SUNDAY

Rev. Robert Brumet will also be our guest speaker for our 10 a.m. service on Sunday. He will share ideas from his book, "Living Originally: Ten Spiritual Practices to Transform Your Life,"  which is available in the bookstore.

 

SHARON BOUSQUET, PHOENIX JORDAN PERFORMING SUNDAY

Our guest musicians this Sunday are Sharon Bousquet and Sharon & Heather Phoenix Jordan. Sharon is a performing songwriter and facilitator for the movement-based seminar "The Singing Body," as well as a mother and a composer. She has 6 CDs to her credit including "How Spirit Sings," an inspirational project recorded with Phoenix under the band name Beaucoup Shakti. Sharon and Phoenix will also provide a Prelude Concert at 9:45 before the service.

 

UPCOMING QUARTERLY COMMUNITY MEETING
Please join us after the service this Sunday Nov 17, for our Quarterly CommUnity meeting! This is our opportunity to come together and align us as a spiritual commUnity. Even if you are not a member, this is an excellent way to learn more about current events in our congregation and key information about UnityCR. Plans for rebuilding the damaged area of the building will also be presented during this meeting.

 

THANKS-4-GIVING DAY ACTIVITIES

We are truly blessed at UCR by all of the volunteers that help this village run and prosper. To pamper our many volunteers, the Licensed Leader team and Rev Brenda will host our second annual spa day on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Some of the many offerings that day include reiki, massage, intuitive readings, crystal readings, bio-nutritional feedback and flower essences. Services are offered BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, so please sign-up on the schedules posted in the foyer.

 

ANNUAL THANKS-4-GIVING BRUNCH

Sunday, November 24 will be the special day when the leadership circle (Board of Trustees and Licensed Unity Leaders) show their appreciation for our congregation. They will be preparing and serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal immediately following the Sunday service. Plan to join us for a great commUnity connection time.

 

"VISION WORKSHOP" ON NOVEMBER 24

Cynthia Stavrou is a certified life mastery consultant. She will be with us on Sunday, Nov. 24 from 12:15-2:30, offering the workshop "Vision Workshop-Three Keys to Accelerating Your Results." This dynamic and fun workshop will show you ways to define, design, and experience your dream. There will be a sign-up sheet in the foyer, along with flyers at UCR.
