BOOK STUDY STARTS TUESDAY
Looking for a great book to read and share with others?
Paula Land and Glady McMellor have just read the book "Living Originally, Ten Spiritual Practices to Transform Your Life," by Unity teacher/author Rev. Robert Brumet. He was their workshop presenter at Unity Village in June. They returned from that spiritual retreat restored and ready to share the book's core practices in a book study. It will take place from 6-8 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the next four months (Sept. 10, Oct. 8, Nov. 12 and Dec. 10), with optional love offerings. The book is available now from the UCR bookstore for $15. To culminate our study, Rev. Brumet will provide a workshop on transformative practices right here at UCR on Sat., November 16 (1-4:00 p.m.) and also give the message at Sunday service November 17. Please feel free to contact either Paula at 319-721-1759 or Glady at 319-362-2242 if you have questions.
SETH BRAUN TO OFFER WORKSHOP SEPT. 22
Seth Braun is coming to UnityCR and will be offering a workshop titled, "Road Warrior Stories: New Thought Field Notes." He will weave tales of tension and triumph lifted from his most recent speaking tours in the US and Canada. With wit and wisdom, Seth will share insights into other profound (and humorous) Aha! moments from the road. He will be having this workshop after Sunday service, starting at 11:45 a.m.
