"UNITY-SPEAK" SERIES CONTINUES SUNDAY
This Sunday brings us week two of our sizzling summer series, "Unity-Speak." We'll dig into such metaphysical ideas as: What is consciousness and what are the 3 phases of consciousness? What is our soul? Who/What is the "I AM"? How do we know what is Truth? There'll be a short quiz from our week one content, so be sure to review your notes!  Our guest musician Sunday is flutist Joanne Chadima. She enjoys teaching and performing in the Cedar Rapids area. She loves playing for Orchestra Iowa, CR Municipal Band,Theatre Cedar Rapids, area churches and the Christmas Tribute concerts. UCR's Nina Swanson will be accompanying her. MINISTRY TEAM LEADERS MEETING AUGUST 11
The Ministry Team Leaders meeting will be Sunday, August 11, from 1-1:30 pm following the Healthy Congregations workshop, which is from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.. All MTLs should plan to attend the Healthy Congregations workshop and the MTL meeting. A topic and agenda will be sent to all MTL's prior to the meeting.
