REV. BRENDA SPEAKING SUNDAY

Have you ever wished you could speak more coherently as to what Unity is or clearly describe our basic tenets? Our upcoming summer series may be just the hot ticket you want to buy! This Sunday Rev. brenda will kick off  "Unity Speak." Using Rev. Temple Hayes' book, "How to Speak Unity," we'll become familiar with a variety of common Unity topics. In week one, we'll learn about the origins of the Unity movement, the New Thought movement, and our foundation in prayer. See you there!

ANJI KAT SPECIAL MUSICIAN SUNDAY

Anji Kat lends pure vocals with smooth skilled phrasing to both Anji Kosirog2 original songs and cover tunes, effortlessly blending folk, jazz and blues styles with a sprinkling of prairie-sunshine pop. She is currently creating her first solo album, "Moving On." She will  be performing a prelude concert starting at 9:45 a.m. before the service. Anji and husband Walt are moving to Florida in August. We wish them all the best.

SUSAN'S SALON HAPPENING THIS SUNDAY!

Please join us from 9 - 9:45 for coffee, pastries and great conversation in Sacred Grounds and Books. Our topic  will be a discussion of the wonderful theme of our fabulously successful "Creating Sacred Space" Prayer-a-thon. Our question will be: How do we create sacred space in our personal lives? We know that when we go within we embrace a sacred space but do you also have other places that are sacred for you? A special place in nature? A meditation space in your home? Join us to discuss sacred spaces.

HELP! HELP! WE NEED YOUR PHYSICAL POWER

To continue improving our curb appeal, we are asking for volunteers to help us out. Please donate your time on either Saturday, July 20, from 9-noon or Sunday, July 21, from noon-2 to continue to clear trees and weeds around Lake Unity and in our "back acres." We are requesting volunteers who can remove weeds from several of our flower garden areas. Bring loppers, rakes, gloves and any helpful outdoor clean-up tools. We thank you in advance for your investment in your spiritual community.
