REV. RON FRITTS TO SPEAK THIS SUNDAY
Please join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. to hear guest speaker Rev. Ron Fritts, who is currently the president of the Unity Great Lakes Region. For the past seven years, he served as senior minister in Quincy, Illinois, but recently left in order to speak and provide workshops at other Unity ministries. His topic is "Hooray for Change!" We'll learn the necessity and importance of navigating change, even when it gets uncomfortable. Stick around after the service for our annual brunch and book sale, followed by a workshop by Rev. Ron (see items below for more details). CAROL MONTAG GUEST MUSICIAN SUNDAY
Carol Montag is an American folk singer/songwriter who is a native of Ames, Iowa. She has performed at numerous music festivals, coffeehouses, colleges and concert series and has opened for or shared the stage with such folk music legends as Arlo Guthrie, Tom Paxton, and Jim Post. She will be playing the guitar and singing Sunday as our guest musician.
WORKSHOP SUNDAY BY REV. RON FRITTS
Rev. Ron Fritts will be giving a workshop at UCR following brunch Sunday. "Speak the Truth - Say What You Mean (and Think)" will explore the significance of the language we use in our everyday conversation, in the explanation of our theology and even in our music.
