REV. BRENDA CONTINUES BYRON KATIE SERIES
 Please join us this Sunday at 10 a.m. as Rev. brenda moves ahead with our exciting series, "I Need Your Love Is That True?" This week, she will lead us into the depths of our expectations (in ALL relationships) and the resulting disappointment that we suffer. We'll also talk about how flawed our partners can become (chapters 6 & 7 in our book). If you are interested in living relationships in peace, you'll want to join us for this enlightening message. In addition, we have an added bonus - Rev. brenda is hosting an informal discussion after the service to share our personal insights and challenges in seeking love and approval. Vocalist Dave Medin will provide the special music for the service. He is a classically-trained baritone who recently played the Wizard in "The Wizard of Oz" at Theatre Cedar Rapids.
WALK IN "RELAY FOR LIFE" JUNE 7
UnityCR will have a team walking in the Relay for Life fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society. SAVE THE DATE FOR JUNE 9 WORKSHOP
Be sure to save the date for a workshop by Rev. Ron Fritts following brunch on June 9. "Speak the Truth - Say What You Mean (and Think)" will explore the significance of the language we use in our everyday conversation, in the explanation of our theology and even in our music. It will examine some of Unity's basic teachings and consider how we can express them in current language, as well as when and how to share our truth with others.
