"I'VE ALWAYS WONDERED" WITH REV. BRENDA SUNDAY
Please join us for the 10 a.m. Sunday service to enjoy a spontaneous "I've Always Wondered" Sunday. Rev brenda will draw congregant questions from the magic bucket and let Spirit flow! Be sure to drop your question in the bucket this Sunday!
SPECIAL MUSIC BY TRACY PRICE, JOEL MYERS & NINA SWANSON
 Our guest musicians Sunday are Tracy Price, Joel Myers and Nina Swanson. Tracy has sung many times with the Unity Spirit Choir and as guest musician. He has also performed in numerous productions at Theatre Cedar Rapids and other local venues. UnityCR music director Nina Swanson will accompany Tracy and Joel, also vocalizing with them. Nina is known for her years of musical and theater work in the area, and most important to us, Nina is known for supplying the musical harmonies and spirit that keep UCR a happening place. Joel has been an UCR congregant since 2000, and became a member in 2011, when he also joined the Unity Spirit Choir. Joel performs in musical variety shows and hopes he always portrays a positive reflection and enthusiasm! We are looking forward to their collaboration!
"PRAYER IS CALLING YOUR NAME" WITH REV. BRENDA & BARB BUCHANAN BEGINS APRIL 11
A vital tool in our spiritual walk is the activity of prayer. If you think you "don't know" how to pray, or can't get it "quite right," or don't even know where to begin, then "Prayer Is Calling Your Name" is the class for you! A mini-series of three consecutive weeks in prayer practice will definitely jump start your engines! Be prepared to have a highly interactive experience. Please sign up in the foyer. The class is provided on a love-offering basis. Class dates are Thursdays, April 11, 18 and 25 from 6 - 8 p.m.
STUDENT RECITAL MAY 5
On Sunday, May 5, we will have a recital after the service for all students who have a solo or recital piece in their school or music studio and would like to perform for us here at UnityCR. Please let Nina Swanson know if you are interested in performing that day.
