GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE TONIGHT AT 7:00
Please join us at tonight at 7 p.m. for our Good Friday Service, which is entitled, "Take Up Your Cross." Plan to be at UnityCR to continue your spiritual journey of Easter. We'll explore the meaning of being on the cross and how it is necessary to our spiritual evolution. Nina Swanson will provide vocal music. Melanie Reiner will gift us with a singing bowl meditation during our very special sacred foot washing ceremony at the end of the service. You won't want to miss out on this key step of the Easter journey.

EASTER SERVICE: "RISING UP"

doves

Please join us at 10 a.m. for our Easter Sunday service as it promises to be a big day - Spirit will definitely be raising the roof! The Unity Spirit Choir and Spirit Band (meet the members in the article below!), as well as the Youth Choir are prepared to sing and play their hearts out to enhance our celebration of rising up in God. Rev. brenda will deliver a dynamic message about our personal "rising up." The message is about the completion of our journey that began with the Passover Parade and took us day-by-day through Jesus' last week. Come on in, share in the good, good vibrations and be sure to bring your loved ones, friends and neighbors.

SPECIAL EASTER BRUNCH AFTER THE SERVICE

"Love people. Cook them good food." That's the motto of our UCR brunch ministry team. They've been planning an extra big, extra special meal following the Easter service. Come hungry and nourish your body, mind and spirit. The menu includes ham, turkey, potatoes, vegetables, rolls and dessert. Just like "coming home!" Gather 'round the table to enjoy great food, great company and the love of Spirit in action. The suggested love offering is $7 per person to cover our expenses. See you there!

"PRAYER IS CALLING YOUR NAME" WITH REV. BRENDA AND BARB BUCHANAN BEGINS

APRIL 11

Has the Easter season inspired you to a stronger spirituality? A vital tool in our spiritual walk is the activity of prayer. If you think you "don't know" how to pray, or can't get it "quite right," or don't even know where to begin ... "Prayer Is Calling Your Name" is the class for you. A mini-series of three consecutive weeks in prayer practice will definitely jump start your engines! Plan on a highly interactive experience. Please sign up in the foyer. The class is provided on a love-offering basis. Class dates are Thursdays, April 11, 18 & 25 from 6 - 8 p.m.

REV. BRENDA ON SILENT RETREAT APRIL 1-6

It's time for our minister to refill the tank, renew her spirit and be still! Therefore, she will be out of the office from April 1 - 6 on her quarterly silent retreat. Please contact Kip Lilly, Office Administrator, for any of your spiritual needs. She'll put you in touch with a support person. When the Rev. returns, we'll have an "I've Always Wondered" Sunday, where she will draw congregant questions from the magic bucket and let Spirit flow! Be sure to drop your question in the bucket this Sunday!
